Cedar`s Restaurant And Lounge in Ferndale

To those who complain about it being packed - it is a small space. It is worth the wait. We typically love to have breakfast here but I was surprised at their burgers as well. They are so big I actually have had to split it with my son. But their breakfast hands down? Delicious!

Great food and great staff

The sweetest gals wait the tables. I was there with my 97 year old friend and they were so wonderful serving him! And the serving size is HUGE! Great value!

We go there at least once a week. Its a staple of Ferndale. Ive had everything on the Menu and never not liked it.

Older fashioned diner environment, food was good with the price for it. The waitress was nice but did not check us hardly that much and got overwelmed and we had to flag her down a couple times so we could get service towards ending of dinner. Wont be returning soon.

Huge burgers! Our food was delicious and we loved our server who was very accommodating.

Just okay. Over medium eggs were super runny. Prices fair. Wanted oatmeal with my protein. There was no options like that. I asked to substitute the hash browns or potatoes and toast for bowl of oatmeal and it wasnt an option. Meanwhile they substituted other meals for cottage cheese and tomatoes. Silly that an inexpensive bowl of oatmeal cant be substituted. Wished they offered healthier options like this as a standard.

The best food in Ferndale. I haven't had a single thing from the menu I didn't enjoy. Best bacon cheese burger I have ever had but bring your appetite it is a whopping 1/2 lb burger. If you are really hungry they have a 1 lb burger as well.

Great food, great atmosphere.. the only problem I have is the cigarette smoke smell from the bar.. The minute you open up the door it just hits my throat. I start coughing n i will cough for a few more days. Used to be not so bad, but the last few times it's really hard to handle.

Friendly place with freshly made hash browns, having that true potato taste. A wood slat ceiling covering white plaster above gives a rustic feel. Waitress knows all the regulars. Makes Bellingham feel like a cold-shoulder metropolis.

I always enjoy there food. Reminds me good old comfort food. There hash brown sandwich is amazing 👌 servers are always super friendly as well. It's a go to spot for our family.

Good family food. The chicken with artichokes was well flavored and different. Ribs were good and flavorful. Big portions. Good service, although she could have used some help. Full bar and decent wine selection, but I had to go check myself before ordering, as the waitress didn't know.

The best in the county for sure! Staff is awesome, food is delicious and consistent, you never have to worry when you go to Cedars it’s always a great experience!

The front restaurant section has the vibe of a senior center coffee shop, which is fine if that's the environment you're searching for. We prefer more ambiance, perhaps music in the background. No alcohol is available in the front restaurant section. For drinks, we had to go back to the bar section. The bar's atmosphere was a bit better, but it smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke (perhaps coming from the patrons?). It took a long time for the waitress to come to our table, then it took a very long time for the food to be served. I'd say we waited nearly 1/2 hour for our meal. Once the food arrived, it was disappointing. There were two thin pieces of turkey on my sandwich, and it was very bland. Our bill for 2 sandwiches and 3 drinks was $49, not including the tip. The folks were nice, which is why I gave them 2 stars :o)

We were looking for a place to eat for breakfast at 1am. Saw the menu online and my mouth was watering. Only problem was i had to wait and i did. Sunday morning (my birthday) we walked in and were greeted with friendly smiles and a big hello. Service was amazing and the food was awesome. Just good old fashioned food. You felt a part of. Like they have known you your entire life. When in the area. It will be a must for me.

Our waitress was super friendly and didn't have to wait for service. As soon as we sat down at the our table she was brought over some ice cold water. I order their steak was delicious and baked potatoes was gigantic but delicious. My boyfriend order the open face sandwich give him 2 piece of bread topped with bunch of beef loaded with lots of brown gravy. My 3-year-old son was in heaven by the gigantic pile of French fries and a chicken strip. Also like that they put their children drink in a plastic cup with a lid. I will definitely be coming back to Cesar's Restaurant to sit down and enjoy their delicious food.

Down home Diner experience.Great food, great people, friendly staff, they make you feel like family. Children's menu is great. Breakfast all day. There hash browns rocked.

Fish and chips was excellent. The environment was kind of dingy diner, but probably in my top 10 fish and chips I've had.

The breakfast is amazing! We travel a lot and it is truly the best we have found anywhere. The food is fresh, hot and plenty of it. We were there on Father's day so it was incredibly busy but the staff never seemed frazzled. The were hustling fast but yet remained genuinely happy, upbeat and friendly. This place should be an all-American destination. Seriously!

Cozy little diner with a great variety of food, good service and friendly people. Overall lovely experiences the 3 times I've been here so far, and I plan to be back.
